Dr. Hassen

I have always wanted my patients to leave my office a little happier than when they came in. It was with this philosophy in mind that I started Revolution Medical Clinic. The patient experience means everything to me. This was an important part of my medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

It was during my time spent at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto that I realized the immense value of family medicine and it’s importance to the overall well being of the family unit.

My wife and I immigrated to Canada in 2007. I worked as a family physician and ER doctor in rural Northern Alberta. My family and I still visit the community periodically and I enjoy following up on my patients during those visits.

I am a proud dad of twins and a son 15 months younger. I enjoy spending time with my family, 3 dogs and 2 cats! Going on long walks and playing soccer are among my favorite pastimes.

I have an interest in pediatrics and families with special needs children as well as in chronic disease management. My greatest satisfaction is helping people overcome their dependence on prescription drugs.

I have been prescribing medical cannabis for the past two years and I look forward to helping you find an alternative option to help with your chronic pain and mental health struggles. Please book an appointment with me to see how Medicinal Marijuana/Cannabis can help you.

It’s a privilege to be trusted as your family physician.

Nadja MacKillop, RMT UTRMT

My name is Nadja MacKillop, owner of Soul Synergy Therapy. I was born in a small town in German, and along with my parents and sister I moved to Vancouver Island, BC in the summer of 1996, and have been calling High River my home since the spring of 2014. My passion for helping people feel their absolute best started in my early childhood. I always knew just how to help and what to do. So I decided a long time ago to become a registered massage therapist, reiki practitioner and master, as well as a nutritional counsellor. I specialize in deep tissue and rehabilitation massage, but also offer relaxation, prenatal and postpartum massage, as well as I work with babies and children. I also absolutely love animals, and work with horses and dogs as well. My devotion to animals started also in my early childhood, when I was just a little older than my daughter now and would jump the neighbours’ fence and groom, work and ride their horses. And so part of my journey begun. Dogs have always been part of my life and so it was natural to work with them as well. In my eyes there is no better way than to bring all my passions together and offer massage therapy and reiki for yourself, horses and dogs – truly transforming body, mind and soul. I look forward to meet and work with you.
