COVID-19 vaccine in Calgary and High River at Guardian Royal Vista and Guardian High River Pharmacies

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Residents all over Calgary are slowly becoming eligible for COVID-19 vaccines.

Why, and when, you should get vaccinated

COVID-19 vaccinations are effective at both preventing illness and reducing the severity of symptoms. Vaccines are being administered to those most at risk first. We are currently accepting anyone 50 or older.

If you are under 50 years of age, follow the Alberta Government site to find out when you are eligible to book yours.

The Guardian Royal Vista and Guardian High River Pharmacies in North West Calgary are now offering the AstraZeneca Vaccine. The duration of your visit will be about 15 minutes and your second dose will be booked before you leave.

Public health and staff safety measures

Our Calgary and Higher River pharmacy members value the safety of you and our community. We are regularly sanitizing the space and ensuring we are following all personal protective equipment requirements at all times. You are required to wear a mask, sanitize and follow social distancing guidelines while visiting our clinics.

What to bring to your appointment

All you need to bring with you to your vaccination appointment is your Alberta Health card. Bringing a reusable mask is helpful for waste reduction, but we do have some available if you forget yours at home.
